Description of course
This course lays down the foundation of the myofascial self-release techniques that are used throughout all of the modules in the Women’s Health programs. It has been specifically designed to integrate with the exercises designed for every stage of a woman’s life.
Course objectives
- How fascial web works in conjunction with the muscles and bones to create movement.
- How to release fascial restrictions through movement sequences and positions and gentle pressure.

Our Pelvic Floor course takes you through the anatomy and physiology of the PF during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Understanding the normal functioning of a healthy pelvic floor will allow you to guide your client through the changes taking place at this time.

This course provides the perspective of preparing the pregnant client for the birth and the postpartum client in the recovery afterwards through effective breath and movement techniques. The program is designed to be built upon from the first trimester through to the birth and then continued into the fourth trimester.
Course objectives
- The anatomy and physiology of the pregnant and postnatal woman.
- The intimate relationship of the body to the breath and how to use the breath for birth, postural alignment and rehabilitation in the postnatal period.
- The adaptations of exercise and alignment to posture in the pregnant and postnatal body.
- The careful use of language and cueing while teaching this population.
- Program design that truly addresses the needs of the pregnant and postpartum client.

Designed for Fitness, Pilates and Yoga Professionals, The Center Method™ for Diastasis Recti Recovery program investigates the history, anatomy and epidemic of diastasis recti commonly known as a separation of the rectus abdominus muscles.
Utilizing breathwork, pelvic floor information, whole body movement and myofascial release techniques, this rehabilitative course equips you with the skills you need to help your clients release, realign and restore the core musculature.
The program offers a series of deep stabilizing exercises with progressions that will allow you to progress towards your regular exercise program, if that is your goal. The deep understanding of the working of your body will ensure the prevention of a recurrence of this condition.
